The pre-connector MTP/MPO trunk cable assembly consists of LSZH sheathed micro-cables terminating MTP/MPO connectors at both ends (no pins by default).

 

72 fiber optic MPO patch cord is used as a backbone or horizontal cable interconnection. These plug-and-play solutions with microcore cables maximize bending radius and minimize cable weight and size, which is ideal for 800G QSFP DD solutions.

 

The MPO trunk cable connects MPO modules together as a permanent link. As a backbone cable, 72 fiber optic MPO patch cord is available with 8, 12, 16, 24, 48, and 72 fibers to support data center solutions with speeds up to 10/40/100/400 Gbps.

Three types of insertion loss are available: standard loss(0.5dB), low loss(0.35dB) and ultra-low loss(0.25dB). The ultra-low loss connector ensures reliable signal transmission, supporting higher-speed Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications, particularly in the case of single-mode fibers.

With standard lengths of 5, 10, and 25 meters readily available, the cables can be tailored to specific requirements. Custom lengths can also be requested. Available in OM3, OM4, OM5, and single-mode (OS2) fiber variants. And OPTICO offer options for Polarity A, B, and C.
